Long Yoga Saturdays

 

This 3 hour session is an extended afternoon of yoga and relaxation with an emphasis deepening your practice by introducing more advanced poses and techniques, with a longer physical practice, more advanced pranayama practices, meditation and relaxation. This is an opportunity for a real timeout and a 'mini retreat' in an afternoon.

 

 

Introducing Vinyasas

 

This workshop is geared towards those who have completed Beginners 1, or have some experience of yoga but are interested in sequencing poses and vinyasa flow. 

 

 

 

Bootylicious Intensive

 

We come in all shapes and sizes (thank goodness) and this workshop is designed to accommodate that. YOGA IS FOR EVERYONE, so if you are curvalicious, a little self conscious, did not have the time to attend my weekly course and just want a class that embraces your bountiful body this is the workshop for you.

 

The workshop has been designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of yoga and the basic poses in a safe and fun environment. As well as introducing you to the basics the workshops aims to leave you feeling confident to continue to explore other courses and classes and also with the tools to begin your own personal practice. 

Exploring Meditation

 

This workshop explores several methods of meditation  to help you find the best technique for you. Stress is prevelant everywhere and can begin to take its toll on our health and wellbeing. Meditation acts on the body in exactly the opposite way to stress restoring the body to a calm state, helping it repair, and preventing new damage. It also unlocks our your creativity and proies focus, enabling greater clarity in all aspects of life.

Mindfulness is the current buzz word.

Everywhere you go and every where you look it is being quoted (and miss quoted), referenced and countless benefits have been attributed to the practice.

But what is Mindfulness?

What is Mindfulness Meditation?

Is it the same as other meditation techniques?

What  are the benefits and how can you introduce it into your life?

In this 3 hour workshops we will be exploring the philosophy and practice of mindfulness. Several methods will be introduced and practiced and by the end of the session you will have technique that will help you to significantly reduce your stress and improve the quality of your life.
